What is chiropractic?
Your body has an amazing ability to self-heal.
Chiropractic is based on a biological premise that the body has an amazing ability to self-heal. This is possible through proper communication between the brain and the body. A healthy nervous system is vital to ensure this proper communication. Just like how we would keep things that are important to us in a safe place, our spine is designed to protect our nervous system.
Our spine is constantly exposed to different kinds of stresses (physical, chemical and emotional) which may lead to misalignment in our spine. This is what chiropractors call spinal subluxation. A spinal subluxation is a misalignment of our spine which may interfere with the normal function of our nervous system.
Chiropractors are highly trained to locate and, with the appropriate technique, gently correct these misalignments to restore proper function to your spine and your nervous system. With proper communication between the brain and the body, this enables our body self-heal, allowing us to live our life to the fullest.

B. Chiropractic, Cert. AK
Hello and welcome to Attune Chiropractic.
My name is Dr Albert Wong. Originally from Malaysia, I have had the privilege of calling New Zealand home since 2002.
My passion is to share with you the health that chiropractic care brings. I believe that health goes far beyond the absence of aches, pains and symptoms and is a balanced combination of physical, chemical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me chasing my daughter around, trying out different cuisines or having a few hits at the badminton hall.
I look forward to working with you and your family to help you reach your health goals and allow you to live life to its fullest.
Meet the team
Hi, my name is Jacinta and I am a mum of four gorgeous children and a grandparent to two beautiful grandchildren.
I have always had an interest in exercise, health and holistic well-being. I competed in bodybuilding in my late teenage years and this is where my fascination of the anatomy, muscles and the intricate systems within the body began.
I was first introduced to chiropractic care in my 20s when my doctor referred me to a chiropractor for recurring tonsillitis and I have been enjoying the benefits of chiropractic care ever since.
When I’m not in the practice, I love being outdoors, walking our rescue dog, trail running, mountain biking with my family or enjoying time with friends.
I am very excited to be able to walk alongside you on your journey of chiropractic care and well-being. I look forward to seeing you in the practice soon.
